Illustration Friday: Yesterday

This weeks theme on the illustration Friday blog was Yesterday. Now I grew up living with someone with a (pretty serious) Beatles obsession. So there's no other thing I can possibly come up with when the word "yesterday" is mentioned.....

Okay, okay, and I'll admit I have somewhat of a (pretty serious) african animal obsession...

So I am afraid this little sketch was an accident just waiting to happen :D

The Hat-seller and the Monkeys

I created an activity book for a a theater company: Play Me A Story. They perform in New York with interactive musical stories for children. They created a wonderful playfull imaginative version of the old fable of 'the hat seller and the monkeys'. 

It was a lot of fun creating a coloring book for this musical performance. Hope lot's of children will enjoy their musical stories together with my drawings :D
